Setting up support for IMAP using Mac OS X Mail

If you would like to set up your Mail client in Mac OS X, you may be wondering how to set this up correctly. I recently stumbled across this article which may be of some assitance:

Namely, if you are connecting to a Courier-IMAP server (like me) you can still set your IMAP Path Prefix to INBOX to make Mail.app understand that it shouldn't put all of the folders as sub-folders of your inbox. Also The rest can be fixed by using the Mailbox -> Use This Mailbox For menu option to set the folders that Mail uses for its Draft, Sent, Trash and Junk mailboxes (See Apple's technote on this for more). http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mail/2.0/en/ml1134.html

Hope this helps. Please feel free to telephone us if you would like to speak with someone regarding setting up your email with support for IMAP.
